It is distinguished by its hull with chines adapted to amateur construction, its marotte, its low and taut lines. The boat has been modernised by allowing Kevlar-foam sandwich construction and mylar sails.

This boat can be found at very low prices for old amateur constructions to be renovated or much more expensive for modern constructions from specialised shipyards such as Winder for example.
